All Catholic women are invited to join us in the social hall as we work together for our parish and community. Come enjoy our fellowship, and see how you can help.
Each Wednesday we invite everyone to pray the Stations of the Cross in the church at 6 pm. Following the prayer, come to the social hall for a simple meal of soup and bread. Donations for a charity will be accepted. If you would like to pray the Stations at home, click on the picture to go to the bilingual Stations page on our website. There is a video, and pictures of our stations with text.
Clean glass bottles and jars (no lids) will be collected for recycling in the parking lot from 4 pm Saturday, March 25, through 1 pm Sunday, March 26. Please bring glass in boxes and put it in the trailer in the church lot. The county uses the glass in road construction. Note: Now we are also collecting screw-on metal lids for glass bottles and jars. Lids must be in a plastic bag placed in the box with the glass, not loose in the box. Thank you!
The Knights of Columbus invite Catholic men to join them in fellowship and service to the parish and community. Meetings are at 7 p.m. in the social hall the third Wednesday of most months.
We invite all adults to join a study of the Sunday Lenten Gospels, Sundays through March 26. The sessions are from 9:45 to 10:45 am, downstairs in the St Mary Room. You can still join in. If you are interested in attending and will need child care, please contact Cory Dixon at [email protected]
Are you looking for a way to prepare spiritually during Lent? Come read St. Augustine's Confessions, the classic spiritual autobiography by this famous Church father, a story of youthful waywardness and return. We will explore how nothing but God can satisfy the longing in our hearts and how God is always ready to take us back. We meet Thursdays during Lent, morning or evening. Morning option (10-11:30 in the social hall) Session 1: Feb. 23, Session 2: Mar. 9, Session 3: Mar. 23 Evening option (7-8:30 in the Holy Family Room) Session 1: Mar. 2, Session 2: Mar. 16, Session 3: Mar. 30 Interested? E-mail Cory Dixon, Director of Faith Formation ([email protected])
All are invited to our Fish Fry on Friday, March 31 at 6:00 pm. If you plan to attend, please sign up by clicking on the picture. This is just to help the Knights know how much they need to be prepared to cook. Please feel free to come even if you didn't sign up.
You can recycle plastic bags and wrap! We are still collecting plastic bags and film to recycle. There are some updated requirements: They can’t use cellophane-like, crackly plastic that doesn’t stretch. If it tears instead of stretching, please don’t bring it. And, it must be clean and dry. Click on the picture of our first bench made from Trex recycled plastic to see what can be recycled, and where to put it in the church.
