Laudato Si' Discussion and Presentation on Zoom

How does Pope Francis' 2015 encyclical Laudato Si': On Care for Our Common Home continue to speak to us today?  What does it mean to be called to an "ecological conversion" both individually and as a world community?  

You are invited to a Zoom presentation and discussion on this landmark document, hosted by Sacred Heart's Social Justice Ministry, from 6:30 to 8 pm Thursday, September 3.  

Three videos, Top 10 Things You Need to Know about Pope Francis' Laudato Si', Connecting Voices, Connecting Laudato Si': Action 2021, and Why Care for the Environment? (Laudato Si Explained),  will be shown.  We will discuss in small groups.  A follow-up gathering on implementing the teachings of Laudato Si' is scheduled for later this fall.
