Wednesday, October 14, 2020, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PMHow are we called, both individually and as a church, to care for God’s creation today? What new approaches to our world are needed to answer this call? You are invited to a Zoom presentation and discussion on the care of creation in light of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home. Two videos, "Why Care for the Environment? (Laudato Si Explained)" and "Connecting Voices, Connecting Laudato Si': Action 2021," will be shown. We will discuss in small groups. The event is hosted by Sacred Heart’s Social Justice Ministry. A follow-up Zoom gathering on implementing the teachings of Laudato Si' is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18.
